Hat-trick of wins for Lincolnshire care group
Independent care group, Tanglewood Care Homes, is celebrating after three of its dedicated team members were recognised at this year’s Lincolnshire Care Awards (LINCA), showcasing the exceptional standard of care delivered across its homes.
The awards, held by the Lincolnshire Care Association highlight excellence in care across 13 categories, recognising individuals who provide high-quality care and support to residents and their communities.
Receiving an Outstanding rating by CQC earlier this year, Holbeach Meadows home manager, Gemma Woodcock was named ‘Care Home Registered Manager of the Year.’
Gemma said, “I feel incredibly honoured to receive this award. It’s a true reflection of the hard work and commitment of the whole team at Holbeach Meadows, who strive every day to provide the best possible care for our residents.”
Linda Nicholson, a housekeeper, who has worked at Toray Pines care home for over 35 years, was delighted to receive the Behind the Scenes Award.
She said, “I’m so proud to be recognised in this way. Working behind the scenes, it means a lot to know that the role we play in creating a safe and welcoming environment is valued.”
Completing the trio of wins was Hayley Jackson, Lifestyle Lead at Cloverleaf care home, who was Highly Commended in the Activity Organiser Award category.
Hayley commented saying, “To be highly commended is such a wonderful surprise. I absolutely love what I do—bringing joy and meaningful activities to residents is at the heart of everything, and I’m grateful to be part of such a supportive team.”
These accolades reflect the compassion, professionalism and dedication that underpin Tanglewood’s approach to care.
