Invest Lincolnshire to unveil £4.2bn investment pipeline at UKREiiF
Greater Lincolnshire is set to make a major statement at this year’s UK Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF), unveiling £4.2bn of investment opportunities and a pipeline of transformational projects designed to drive growth across some of the UK’s most nationally significant sectors.

Representatives from the Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority (GLCCA), alongside inward investment teams from Lincolnshire County Council, including Team Linconshire, and North East Lincolnshire Council, will showcase a portfolio of strategic development opportunities – with the launch two new flagship documents.
The Greater Lincolnshire Housing Pipeline and Investment Prospectus and Site Catalogue will be shared during the three-day event in Leeds next week - and collectively highlight 42 shovel-ready development opportunities across the region, from Immingham down to Spalding and from Gainsborough across to Boston.
The Greater Lincolnshire Housing Strategy features 20 deliverable residential sites planned over the next five to 10 years, while the Investment Prospectus and Site Catalogue presents 22 investment-ready commercial and mixed-use opportunities.
With a £29bn economy and growth outperforming the national average, Greater Lincolnshire is rapidly emerging as one of the UK’s most compelling destinations for investment. The region has nationally significant strengths in agri-food and agri-tech, advanced manufacturing and engineering, defence and security, clean energy, ports and logistics, and automation.
Greater Lincolnshire is also home to major strategic assets including Humber Freeport, STEP Fusion, Food Enterprise Zones, the Lincoln Science and Innovation Park, and the South Lincolnshire Food Enterprise Zone - creating a powerful platform for future investment and innovation.
Throughout UKREiiF, the GLCCA pavilion will host a series of panel discussions and sector showcases, including: ‘Creating Real Opportunity: Mayoral Launch of the Greater Lincolnshire Investment Prospectus’, ‘Launch of the Greater Lincolnshire Housing Pipeline’, ‘Lincolnshire: A Beacon for Intergenerational Living’ – led by Lincolnshire Coop, ‘Seeding the Future: Rethinking Investment in Humber Freeport and North East Lincolnshire’, ‘Infrastructure Developments Across Lincolnshire’, ‘What Makes Lincolnshire Unique for Defence & Security – and How Does That Meet National Defence Need?’ – led by University of Lincoln, and ‘Agri-Tech Innovation and Investment Opportunities Across Lincolnshire’.
Leader of Lincolnshire County Council, Cllr Sean Matthews, said: “Greater Lincolnshire sits at the heart of the UK’s nationally critical sectors of food, energy and defence. We feed Britain, we power Britain, and we help defend Britain.
“Our region offers investors genuine scale and opportunity, from Food Enterprise Zones and innovation parks to advanced manufacturing, clean energy and major housing growth. By unlocking these opportunities, we are building a pipeline of transformational projects that will strengthen our economy, create jobs and support communities across Greater Lincolnshire. UKREiiF provides the perfect platform to showcase what our region has to offer.”
Mayor of Greater Lincolnshire, Dame Andrea Jenkyns, said: “This year’s UKREiiF is a defining moment for Greater Lincolnshire. It marks one year since I was elected to lead Greater Lincolnshire, and we are celebrating that anniversary with a massive statement of intent. For the first time in our history, we have a full, powerhouse Investment Prospectus ready for the world to see.
“We aren’t just here to talk; we are here to deliver. Greater Lincolnshire is the backbone of the United Kingdom. We feed Britain, we power Britain, and we secure Britain.
“With our new Advanced Manufacturing Zone and a massive housing pipeline, we are presenting a portfolio of spade-ready, high-value opportunities. We are one team, we are standing tall, and we are ready to outpace the competition. Greater Lincolnshire is open for business, let’s get to work.”
Tony Reynolds, Inward Investment Manager at Lincolnshire County Council and Team Lincolnshire lead, added: “This is our biggest and most ambitious presence at UKREiiF to date, with more investment opportunities being showcased than ever before.
“UKREiiF gives Greater Lincolnshire a strategic opportunity to connect directly with investors, developers and funding partners, and to demonstrate the scale, ambition and readiness of the opportunities available across our region. We are proud to be attending the event for the fifth consecutive year and exhibiting for the third.”
Taking place in Leeds from 19–21 May, UKREiiF is expected to attract more than 16,000 delegates, including over 3,500 investors and developers from across the UK and internationally, making it one of the country’s leading events for real estate, regeneration and infrastructure investment.
