Lincolnshire man who’s dreamt of owning an Aston Martin since he was a boy wins £80k supercar
A Lincolnshire man who has always dreamt of owning an Aston Martin since he was a child has finally seen that dream come true after winning an £80,000 model with a 20p raffle ticket.
Peter Brown, 65, from Sleaford, scooped a stunning Aston Martin DB11 AMR V12 courtesy of online competition company BOTB.

He was relaxing at home when BOTB presenter Christian Williams arrived to surprise him with the exciting news. Peter recognised Christian straight away after playing BOTB for years, but had no idea what was waiting around the corner.
Joining him for the reveal was his wife, who shared in the unforgettable moment.
Christian led the couple down the road where the sleek supercar was parked up, waiting to be unveiled.
“No way!” Peter said as he laid eyes on it. “I’ve wanted one of those since I was a kid.
“I’ve looked at them in showrooms and thought, ‘One day,’ but then things just get in the way.
“You work all your life, but then never seem to have the money for these sorts of things.”
The following day, Peter said he had stared at the car in disbelief, half expecting someone to tell him it was all a wind-up.
The Aston Martin DB11 AMR V12 boasts more than 600bhp and delivers blistering performance alongside unmistakable British styling.
Peter was invited to sit inside the car and fire up the engine, smiling as the powerful V12 roared into life.
“It’s amazing, and I’m blown away,” he said.
Peter, who previously worked in the motor trade and now works part-time for a construction firm, revealed he travels to Italy regularly and is already excited to take his new pride and joy on a European road trip.
“I’m looking forward to being able to flex its muscles on some good roads,” he added.
Christian said: “The moment Peter saw the car you could tell this was something he’s wanted his whole life.
“The DB11 AMR V12 is an incredible machine with over 600 brake horsepower, stunning design and that iconic Aston Martin sound. It’s the sort of car most people only ever dream about.
”I’m sure he’s going to have a lot of fun driving it about.”
BOTB hands over the keys to a dream car each week, while also offering players the option of a cash alternative and a range of lifestyle prizes.
It is also currently offering people the chance to win a luxury four-bedroom home just outside of London worth £900,000 in a competition currently costing just £1.
Founded in 1999, BOTB has given away prizes to over 527,000 people, including £141m-worth of cars so far.
