Staff receive keys to new, 66-bed care home in Market Rasen

The team behind Market Rasen’s newest care home, Chantrey Fields, officially received the keys this week, marking a major milestone ahead of its opening on Saturday, October 31.

Led by General Manager Cheryl Shorter, the team celebrated the handover of the purpose-built care home, which has been designed to provide high-quality, person-led care.

Chantrey Fields features 66 en-suite bedrooms, private dining spaces, a cinema room, beauty salon and the latest care technology to support residents' wellbeing, independence and quality of life.

Every bedroom is equipped with Sensio RoomMate, an innovative safety monitoring system that preserves residents' privacy, dignity and independence.

Cheryl said: “Reaching this stage in the journey of Chantrey Fields is a fantastic achievement, and we are excited to begin welcoming residents into their new home.

“Alongside delivering high-quality care, we are passionate about building strong relationships within the local community. Through initiatives such as our Community Tree programme, we look forward to working with schools, charities and local organisations to create opportunities for residents to stay connected and play an active role in community life.”

Cheryl and the team at Chantrey Fields are inviting all local community members to the home’s Grand Opening on Saturday, October 31 from 11am-3pm, where guests can enjoy a fancy-dress competition, live music and entertainment, homemade food and refreshments, as well as tours of the new facilities.

Chantrey Fields is located in Chantrey Park on Southwold Road, Market Rasen.
