Newton House celebrates Eurovision in style with music, fancy dress and fun
Residents and staff at Newton House Care Home enjoyed a fantastic day of celebration as the home dedicated the day to the Eurovision Song Contest.

The home was filled with colour, music and excitement as residents and team members embraced the spirit of Eurovision through themed activities, fancy dress and interactive quizzes inspired by the iconic competition.
Throughout the day, residents enjoyed reminiscing about favourite Eurovision songs and memorable performances from years gone by, with plenty of laughter, singing and friendly competition along the way.

The celebrations continued into the afternoon with a special live music performance from the talented Alison Jay, who entertained residents with a lively set featuring well-loved Eurovision classics. Residents sang along, danced and waved flags as they enjoyed the wonderful atmosphere created throughout the home.
The event formed part of Newton House’s ongoing commitment to delivering meaningful, engaging and person-centred activities that bring joy, connection and opportunities for shared experiences.
Sonia Fairhurst General Manager said: ‘It was wonderful to see residents and staff coming together to celebrate Eurovision in such a fun and uplifting way.
