Crafty skills on show or why not have a go?

Rasen Hub Craft Club will be demonstrating some of the crafty things they get up to on a Wednesday afternoon at a number of demonstration sessions throughout April.

Coming up are: sock monkey/rabbit - Friday April 4 and 25, 10am to 12 noon; knitting - Friday April 4, 11 and 25, 2pm to 4pm; crocheting - Saturday April 5, 12, 10am to 12 noon; patchwork/quilting - Monday April 7 and 28, 10am to 12 noon; 
paper craft - Monday, 7 and 14, 2pm to 4pm; felt animals - Friday April 11, 10am to 12 noon; teddy bear/dolly hospital - Monday April 14, 10am to 12 noon; sugar craft - Tuesday April 22 and 29, 11am to 12.30pm; paper craft flowers - Tuesday April 22 and 29, 2pm to 4pm; tatting lace - Wednesday April 30, 11.30am to 1pm.

The demonstration sessions are free, but there will be a small charge for materials if you do decide to try your hand and have a go.

There are also two seasonal workshops next week.

On April 8, there is a children’s Easter card workshop from 10am to 12 noon. The cost is £1 per child, including refreshments. Pop in and make a card with your child.

And on April 9, from 2pm to 4pm, there is an adult Easter workshop. The cost is £5 and you will make a minimum of two projects. There will also be tea and cake.

Coming up later in the month, on April 26, is an all day drop-in session.

Go along and have a go between 10am and 4pm, when there will be many different crafts, workshops, demonstration, refreshments and lots more.

On April 23, the Craft Club will be serving afternoon tea at their regular session from 2pm to 4pm, when you can chat with the crafters and get a taste of what they get up to - all for £2.50.
