Dramatic netball story about sister’s fight for legacy
A dramatic story about a sister’s fight for legacy will be performed at Caistor Town Hall next month.
Written and performed by Imogen Greenwood, The Other Neville is the next Rural Touring Play at the venue on Friday March 6 starting at 7.30pm.

This captivating one-woman play shines a light on Tracey Neville’s untold story. Often overshadowed by her famous footballer brothers (Gary and Phil), Tracey finally steps into the spotlight to claim her own place in history, as a trailblazer for English netball.
It’s March 2019. Months after leading the Roses to Commonwealth glory, Tracey faces the hardest decision of her life. As she relives a journey from Northern courts to the world stage – player to coach, sister to leader – she wrestles with what it means to win, and what it costs.
Told with heart, humour, and a netball, The Other Neville is women’s sport from the inside: the pressure, the power, the personal price. For anyone who’s ever chased the impossible – and kept going. This powerful production takes audiences on an inspirational journey through Tracey’s life as both player and coach. Brought to life with authentic netball choreography and vivid storytelling, the show is rooted in community and female identity.
The Other Neville isn’t just for sports fans. It’s a compelling exploration of legacy, ambition and gender inequality and overcoming adversity, offering something powerful for everyone. It is an empowering story of determination and triumph. This production is an independent, unaffiliated work and is not endorsed by Tracey Neville or the Neville family.
