Andrew has more than 30 years experience of covering news in Sussex, largely focussing on the Hastings and Rother areas. In that time he has covered everything from murder investigations and large scale protests to community events. He has worked as a court reporter and has covered local democracy.

Andrew is a regular columnist for The Hastings Observer and has an expertise in Sussex pubs and brewing. He has a wide knowledge of Sussex folklore and traditions and has been published on the subject.

Andrew is a member of a Sussex bonfire society and a lifelong supporter of Arsenal Football Club. He was awarded Young Reporter of the Year in 1992.
