Bakery chain 'delighted' to be opening second shop in Boston
A bakery chain is set to open a second shop in Boston.
Cooplands has taken on a vacant unit at M Park Boston (formerly Boston Shopping Park), off Horncastle Road.

It will act as the chain’s second shop in town, with the branch in Strait Bargate remaining open, the business says.
Customers are told to expect Cooplands’ ‘much-loved range of hand-crafted products, freshly made sandwiches, sweet treats and coffee’.

John Ruddock, chief executive officer, said: “We’re delighted to be opening our second shop in Boston and continuing our investment in the local community.
“As a business with more than 140 years of baking heritage, we’re incredibly proud to combine our traditional values with a modern, convenient shopping experience.
“Our new M Park shop means even more customers can enjoy our freshly baked products, great value and friendly service every day.
“We’re also pleased to offer a comfortable seating area, creating a welcoming space where customers can relax, enjoy a coffee and catch up with friends.”
The new shop launches tomorrow (Wednesday, July 22), with an official ribbon-cutting at 11am.
It will be open seven days a week, 7.30am to 6pm Monday-Saturday, and 9am to 4pm on Sundays.
Cooplands has been in operation since 1885. It launched as a small pork butcher and pie shop in Scarborough, but today has sites well into triple-figures across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the North East.
