Mrs Good graduated from Dundee University in 1977 and completed her postgraduate training at both Dundee and Manchester Dental Hospitals.

She then worked in general dental practice in Dundee until she moved to Skegness with her husband, Dr Ross Good, in 1981.

Until her two sons started school and nursery she took a break and then joined fellow Dundee graduates Julian Clark and Andrew Perry at Perry & Clark Dental Practice in 1990. She also worked at Pilgrim Hospital in the Maxillofacial Department.

"I have seen many changes over the years and I have always loved my job and it has been a pleasure working in such a happy environment," she said. "We have been a very close-knit team, working hard, but also having a lot of fun.

Mr Alcock said: "“I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Clark Dental Studio since joining the practice, and have received a very warm welcome from both staff and friendly patients. I’m looking forward to meeting all of Mrs Good’s former patients over the coming months”

Meanwhile, colleagues and patients are getting used to the new ways of working. Dr Clark said: "The recent Covid 19 lockdown has been a very difficult time,

"in March we had to close our doors to face to face care, and we were restricted to emergency consultations via telephone or video calls.

"In June we were pleased to welcome our patients back to the practice and adapt to a new normal way of working.

"Recent guidelines have been introduced to ensure the safety of our staff and patients, we have enhanced our level of PPE and we have introduced fallow periods where the surgery has to be left empty for up to an hour following certain treatments.

"Due to social distancing and the need to leave fallow periods, we are currently running at reduced capacity, which feels very frustrating as we want to deliver the very best service possible to our patients."
