Steel fabricators in Market Rasen mark 40-year milestone with Lincoln City FC partnership deal
A family firm in Market Rasen has marked 40 years of trading by becoming an Official Gold Partner of Lincoln City Football Club.
Founded in 1986 by Rowley Boulton in Market Rasen, Rase Steels began life as a local steel merchant.

Over the past four decades, the company has grown into a trusted supplier and fabricator, supporting customers across the agricultural, industrial and commercial sectors while remaining proudly rooted in Lincolnshire.
The next generation continues to build on those foundations, as Rowley’s sons, Matthew and James Boulton, play key roles in the business, while Operations Director Chris Jackson and his son, William, are also leading the steelwork redevelopment of Lincoln City’s new Fan Zone.

The new long-term Gold Partnership agreement comes at an exciting time for both organisations as Lincoln City prepares for the 2026/27 Sky Bet Championship season and Rase Steels celebrates four decades of growth, innovation and commitment to the local community.
Chris Jackson, Operations Director at Rase Steels, said: “Lincoln City means a great deal to so many people across the county, and we’re delighted to be part of the club’s journey. Being involved in the redevelopment of the
new Fan Zone makes the partnership even more special, as it’s something supporters will enjoy for years to come.”
Lincoln City’s Head of Commercial, Bobby Copping, welcomed the partnership, saying: “Rase Steels are a fantastic example of a successful local business with deep roots in the Lincolnshire community. Their story is one of dedication and progression, and we’re pleased to welcome them into our partnership family. We look forward to working closely with Rase Steels over the coming seasons.”
For a business founded on family values and local pride, the company feels supporting Lincoln City’s future represents a fitting way to celebrate four decades in business.
