Under the UK car park operator, about £300,000 has been invested into the 120-plus space facility.

Steps taken have included the laying of new asphalt, and the installation of enhanced CCTV coverage and improved lighting.

The upgraded car park is expected to increase footfall to Boston’s high street by offering ‘reliable, well-maintained parking in a convenient town-centre location’, Napier Parking says.

Tariffs, it adds, have been set at ‘highly competitive rates’ designed to encourage longer stays and regular use:

  • £3.50 for 24 hours
  • £32.50 for a monthly permit

A spokesman for Napier Parking said: “We are delighted to bring the Red Lion Street Car Park under the Napier banner and to invest in transforming a previously neglected facility into a modern, secure and well-lit space.

“Our £300,000 upgrade will give Boston residents and visitors a high-quality parking option that is both safe and excellent value.

“We believe the competitive all-day and monthly rates will help drive more people into the high street, supporting local businesses and the wider community.”

This becomes the fifth car park operated by Napier Parking in Boston, joining: Boston Central Car Park (off West Street), Boston Shopping Park, County Hall Car Park, Fountain Lane Car Park, and New England Hotel Car Park.
