Wragby Market awards underline the town's strong community spirit

The strong community spirit in Wragby was on full display when grants were handed out to clubs and groups from the proceeds of the town’s monthly market.

The artisan food and craft market is run by volunteers through the spring, summer and autumn, with excess funds being distributed to local organisations.

At its latest awards evening, 12 community groups each received £200 to help them continue their vaulable work.

A spokesperson for the market said: “The event brought together a wide range of community organisations, highlighting the diversity of activities and services available in Wragby.
