The new premises were officially opened by local resident George Milnes, 76 - a loyal customer for over 30 years and a well-known fundraiser - infront of pharmacy manager Aamir Shahzad and his 10 colleagues.

Mr Shahzad said: “We know many sufferers from long-term conditions don’t always want to go to the doctor every time they have a question.”

”What we are doing is providing services that complement GPs and other healthcare professionals in convenient, pleasant surroundings.”
