Alford, Louth and Mablethorpe firefighters tackle South Reston arson attack which ‘severely damaged’ building

Firefighters from Alford, Louth and Mablethorpe were scrambled to a blaze in a derelict building in South Reston in the early hours of this morning (Sunday).

The crews were called out shortly before 1am to the fire in a building on Main Road.

Two hose reels and one main jet were used to extinguish the fire.

The blaze, which Lincs Fire & Rescue said was started deliberately, caused ‘severe damage’ to the derelict property.
