Lincolnshire Police report they received multiple reports over the last couple of weeks of a man going door to door.

The man was reportedly trying to sell items and when stopped by officers, was unable to produce a pedlar’s licence.

The 33-year-old has since been released on bail with a condition banning him from Lincolnshire.

If you encounter suspicious doorstep peddlers, report them by calling 101. Remember, if you are not expecting visitors, and if you’re not sure, you are not obligated to open the door.
