Peter Whiteley, 50, is bound by the terms of his Sex Offender Notification Requirements, which include informing police when he moves house and officers are re-appealing to try and locate him.

On 28 June 2013, he moved out of an address in Exchange Street, Doncaster, and failed to notify the authorities.

Since this time, extensive enquiries and appeals have been made across the UK in a bid to find him.

Whiteley has connections in the Kings Lynn area of Norfolk, and possibly in London, but he could potentially be anywhere in the country.

He is described as white, 5ft 11ins tall and of a slim build. He has grey hair which, when he was last seen, was curly and around collar-length.

He has blue eyes and teeth missing from the bottom set. He also usually wears scruffy casual clothing.

DC Lynette Temperton-Ball said: “Whitely has been off the radar for over 18 months with no sightings or anyone hearing from him.

“It is imperative we locate him to ensure he is not a risk to others, or to himself, and I would urge anyone that may know his whereabouts to please come forward and contact police.”

Anyone with information as to the location of Whiteley should call South Yorkshire Police on 101. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
