de Aston groups in tune for festival event
Two groups of folk singers from De Aston School were busy preparing for North Lincolnshire Music and Drama Festival this week in 1989.
One of the groups, Sequel, comprised of lower sixth formers and the other was a combination of staff and pupils from across the years.
Dr Jim Ward, their leader, was hoping for as many first prizes as they had received the previous year.
