Run by Matt Lees and Pauline Garner, the Reindeer has exciting new menus on offer and is taking bookings now for Christmas meals and parties in its attractive setting.

Get together with colleagues, family or friends for Christmas parties or festive lunches.

Three course meals with Christmas crackers, novelties and a resident DJ should be reserved now and cost £25 per person.

With a choice of at least three tempting starters, main courses and desserts, all to the Reindeer’s usual high standard, you can expect a great celebration with something to suit everybody.

For main courses select from roast Norfolk turkey with kilted sausages and sage and onion stuffing, roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, supreme of salmon with a leek and prawn cheese sauce,.

There is also on offer baked pepper filled with rice, mushrooms, leeks, onions and courgettes poached in white wine and presented on a paprika cream sauce.

Under Matt and Pauline’s expert guidance the Reindeer has gained a name for good food and its recent run of ‘Flash Friday’ theme nights have also proved popular, with Spanish, American and Moroccan dishes and entertainment on offer.

Pauline said: “We feel the Reindeer Inn offers something extra-special that emanates from a combination of factors – the warmth of the welcome, the friendliness of staff, the character of the place and of course, the food.”

Meal choices include the best of traditional British pub food; chips are hand-cut and pies are home-made.

Value for money steak deals continue to be offered and all meals are freshly cooked to order using ingredients that are sourced locally wherever possible.

Diners can enjoy a selection of fish dishes and specials to tempt all palates or lunches and snacks comprising meat and cheese platters, ploughman’s lunches, Welsh rarebit, bruschetta, and a fabulous choice of salads, made with homemade dressings that include a dieter’s delight!
