Important dates for parents and teenagers ahead of A-level results day

With A-level results day 2015 only a week away, here’s the list of key Ucas application and Clearing deadlines parents and teenagers need to know.

Wednesday, 12 August: Clearing vacancy search opens at 6pm.

Thursday, 13 August: A-level Results Day - 8am – Ucas Track goes live.

Monday, 31 August: Ucas’ Adjustment process closes - this allows those that have done better than expected in exams to look into attending a better university than those already offered.

21 September: final deadlines for applications must be in by 6pm.

30 September: Clearing vacancy search closes, last opportunity to search for Clearing vacancies through Ucas. After today, you will have to contact any university direct to discuss availability.

21 October: Clearing closes.
