Man fires BB gun from car at Epworth residents

These warnings are given to the drivers of vehicles which are being driven in a careless or inconsiderate manner.

Also this week a vehicle has been seized after the driver of that vehicle having been given a warning about his driving committed the same act again.

At various shops within the Isle there has been reported several incidents of person(s) entering picking up property and leaving without paying.

Enquiries are continuing to locate these people responsible.

If anybody has any knowledge of who may be responsible do not hesitate to contact the Local Neighbourhood Team on telephone number 101 or call into Epworth Police Station (office hours being 9am to 3pm Tuesdays and Thursdays).

During this week several reports were taken from members of the public in the Epworth area regarding a male firing a BB gun at them from a passing motor vehicle resulting in persons being injured. Four teenagers have been located and interviewed about this matter the youths concerned have fully admitted responsibility and a decision will be made shortly about what action the police will take.

Incidents of poaching continue to be reported within the Isle of Axholme.
