Cited as the ‘Industry Event of the Year’, the awards highlight and reward those who are leading the way in the social housing sector.

The housing association impressed the initial judges by showing how it has and will continue to diversify its services, how it provides much more for people than just a roof over their heads and how the company is investing in its housing stock above and beyond the recognised Decent Homes standard.

Chief Executive, Andy Orrey commented: “This is great news for the organisation and our staff and tenants should be proud to have our company recognised for such an award. We live by the promise that everything we do is given back to the community and this philosophy will continue. With the support of our staff and tenants, we’ve already delivered some great projects, which is reflected in us being shortlisted for the Housing Excellence Awards, and there are many more in the pipeline.”

A gala dinner will take place at Lancashire County Cricket Club on May 6 to announce the winners, who are currently being decided upon by an expert panel of judges across the housing sector.
