Kate Pocklington contacted us after seeing our old photo of Leasingham School in 1991 last week, as she was one of the class.

She listed their names as: Harriet Gibson, Nicola Hardy, Kate Pocklington, John Tokley, Samantha New and Anna Hall. She thought the other boy pictured was Harry Snow.

“Our teacher would have been Mrs Burns followed by Mrs Taylor,” she recalled. “It’s funny - we will all be 30 this year or next year, and we’ve made it to the ‘nostalgia’ section!”

Kate works as a conservator specialising in natural history moving to Singapore five years ago. She said: “We built a new natural history museum, restored over 3,000 specimens and dealt with the installation of each showcase.”
