I am delighted to confirm Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust has been confirmed as featuring in the 2015 Health Service Journal (HSJ) and Nursing Times’ top 100 Best Places to Work.

This is scored based on the results of the annual, independent NHS Staff Survey, which all of our staff have the opportunity to complete.

This success has now seen us put forward for an award, along with 10 other community NHS trusts who will be competing for the title of Best Community Trust.

Our projects have also been shortlisted for two other national awards; in the Musculoskeletal Care category of the Patient Safety Awards and the Workforce Efficiency category of the HSJ Value in Healthcare Awards.

We have approximately 2,300 individuals working for us in Lincolnshire and Peterborough and this news has served as a timely reminder that without the dedication, skills and experience of our staff, we would not be able to deliver the excellent care or wide range of services in our communities for our patients.

By celebrating our successes on a national platform, I hope it helps Lincolnshire as a whole to be recognised as having a great deal to offer, particularly for those working in healthcare.

We are constantly reviewing and developing the opportunities we offer and in July we will be supporting placements for the first Lincolnshire cohort of students who were previously registered nurses and would like to return to practice again.

If you were previously qualified and would like more information about returning to your nursing career, call 01529 220300.
