Council report - New clerk gets annual salary
I would like to clarify the report of Goulceby Parish Council in last week's Horncastle News.
The new clerk receives an annual salary, regardless of how many meetings we have. We had three candidates for the position and two were interviewed.
The chairman of Ranby has not been asked to attend a meeting; he has phoned me and was very confused as he knew nothing about it.
