Parish council makes presentation to outgoing county councillor

Coun Yates has decided to stand down and will not be seeking re-election in the county council elections in May.

She has served the area as county councillor for many years, so to say thanks for her support of the village, the parish council presented her with an orchid and gift voucher following the meeting in March. Pictured at the presentation are (from left) vice chairman Sue Harford, Coun Liz Yates and chairman Geoff Houchin.
