Pearl of a cloud in the Binbrook sky
It has been a great time to look skyward recently as Mail reader Kate Collins discovered as she took this wonderful picture of the sky over her Binbrook home one early morning.
Many people get excited and think they have seen the Northern Lights, but Kate was able to identify them as Nacreous clouds, also known as Mother of Pearl clouds due to their iridescent nature.
Send in your landscape pictures of earth, water or sky to us here at the Mail and maybe yours could be our next ‘Picture of the Week’.
