Passengers can travel from Skegness on the InterConnect 56 service to Lincoln Bus Station before connecting with the dedicated Service 555 shuttle bus to the showground.

Buses will run approximately every 15 minutes throughout the day.

The first bus from Lincoln city centre will leave at 8.30am, while the last return service from the showground will depart at 6.30pm.

Managing director Matt Cranwell said the bus offered a convenient and affordable alternative to travelling by car.

He said: “The Lincolnshire Show is one of the biggest events in the county's calendar and we are pleased to once again provide bus services to help people get there.

“Our services offer a convenient and affordable way to travel, wherever you are coming from across the region. By choosing the bus, visitors can avoid the stress of driving and parking, sit back and enjoy the day from the moment they set off.”

Stagecoach has reminded passengers that concessionary travel passes for senior citizens and disabled passengers are not valid on the dedicated show services 554 and 555.

Gold DayRider tickets can be used on the route, costing £11.60 for adults, £6.90 for young people aged 19 and under, and £23.50 for groups of up to five people travelling together.

The same ticket can be used for the journey into Lincoln, the shuttle bus to the showground and the return trip home.

The Lincolnshire Show is one of the county's biggest annual events, attracting thousands of visitors to celebrate agriculture, food, business and rural life.
