Lottie, William and Jessie – collectively the Young Beekeepers – decided to spend money they make from beekeeping on Easter Eggs for the children’s ward.

They spent £100 on making sure there were enough eggs for every child in the hospital this Easter.

William said: “As we are all currently in lockdown, we all thought we needed that little bit of cheer.”

Lottie added: “So we have decided to spend all the money we make from beekeeping to ensure every child at Pilgrrim Hospital gets an Easter Egg.”

“Remember to stay at home, save lives.”

“And protect the NHS,” said Jessie.

After an appeal on Facebook, the ward sister from the children’s ward got in touch and arranged for the eggs to be delivered to the hospital.
