Festive spirit shines at Skegness Christmas Markets and Santa Run weekend
Skegness is gearing up for a sparkling weekend of festive fun, with two Christmas markets and a Santa Run.
Carnival committee volunteers are once again transforming Tower Gardens into a winter wonderland tomorrow (Saturday), with more than 60 festive stalls full of gifts, crafts, delicious treats and seasonal goodies.

Organisers say this follows a successful first event in the community park last year and positive comments from the vendors.
There will be live entertainment throughout the day, including music from the Silver Band and a performance by Top Limitz Dance Group — plus local school choirs bringing Christmas cheer.
The Village Church Farm Museum is hosting its Christmas market on Sunday, with stalls, mince pies and crafts. The event takes place from 10am to 4pm.
Then on Sunday the ever-popular Rotary Santa Run sets off from the RNLI Lifeboat Station at 10.30am.
Dozens of Santas will don their red suits and beards provided as part of the entry fee before taking on the festive 5k route along the promenade.
The event raises funds for Rotary-supported local charities and the Lifeboat each year.
With all events promising laughter, community spirit and plenty of Christmas sparkle, Skegness is set for a magical weekend.
As one organiser said: “There’s something for everyone this weekend – it’s a wonderful way to start the Christmas countdown here in Skegness.”
