Forget snakes on a plane - try snakes in a tree!

It wasn’t just local residents who basked in the sunshine over the weekend - some reptiles also got in on the action, as the above picture shows.

Swaby resident David Wilkinson contacted the Louth Leader with the picture taken by his daughter Rebecca.

Mr Wilkinson said: “I thought you might be interested in these pictures of grass snakes basking in the sun, in a tree in our garden in Valley Lane, Swaby, in the Swaby Valley.
