The gym at Woodhall Spa’s Jubilee Park is to open full time from lunchtime in January.

Operations director Joe Stanhope said: “We’re delighted to be able to start the new year with our full range of Fitness Suite services, including Fitness in the Park open air classes and we’re trialling some online classes too.

“Of course, this is subject to national Covid policy, but we’ve been listening to members and feel this will be the right time to start again.”

As before the latest closure, numbers are limited and 55-minute sessions have to be pre-booked.

During January, the Fitness Suite is offering 10% off for anyone signing up to a new annual membership or annual direct debit.

Joe added: “We may all be restricted at present, but getting and keeping fit is one thing we can do.

“Our qualified staff can prepare individual fitness programmes for people to follow and are on hand to advise on equipment use and operation.

“If anyone wants to check out our Covid measures and see the gym before deciding, we’d be delighted to show them round. However, we have to ask for it to be by appointment at present, for obvious reasons.

“The park is a self-funding charity with no public subsidy.

“Buying a membership or voucher will help us to weather the current pandemic as well as investing in the recipient’s future health and fitness.”

Opening times and details of the all-year round Fitness Suite and gym are on the Jubilee Park website www.jpws.co.uk
