A misconduct hearing is to be held for six Lincolnshire Police officers.

It is alleged that the six officers and special constables who are stationed at Lincoln and Gainsborough Police Stations breached the following standards of professional behaviour.

Sgt James Rowe, Duties and Responsibilities and Challenging and Reporting Improper Conduct; PC Liam Elder, PC Hannah Sleath, SC Ellie Denton, SC Dillon Horgan, Authority, Respect and Courtesy, Duties and Responsibilities, Use of Force and Discreditable Conduct and PC Laren Mounde, Authority, Respect and Courtesy, Duties and Responsibilities and Discreditable Conduct.

It is alleged that when an intimate search was completed by police officers on July 16, 2024 it was unlawful, unnecessary and disproportionate and less intrusive methods were not considered or attempted adequately or at all.

The conduct, if proved, amounts to gross misconduct.

The hearing will take place from September 7, to September 21, at 10am at Grantham Police Station on Swingbridge Road, Grantham.
