New Lincolnshire app Tap Tap Pub set to put pubs across the country back on the map

Tap Tap Pub, created by two county founders, is gearing up for its official launch in January with a bold mission.

The platform aims to make it easier than ever for people to find their nearest pub — and for pubs to attract more customers, showcase events, and highlight what makes them special.

“Lincolnshire is where we built this platform, and it’s where we’re proud to launch first,” said co-founder Brad Johnson. “But the ambition has always been national. We want to make great pubs easier to discover and help venues reach the customers who keep them going.”

The launch comes at a critical time for the pub industry. According to Brad, the UK has fewer than 40,000 pubs – a decline of 22% since 2000 – and one in eight pubs have closed in the past decade.

With more people checking online before choosing where to eat or drink, a digital presence is now essential.
