An open day so the public could see the changes co-incided with the 22nd birthday of Dee’Dee’s daughter, Penney, who is also a member of the troupe.
"VarieTcup CIC was an idea we have had for many years we were just waiting for the right venue to start the project,” said Dee’Dee. "Our family, known as the Co, have always supported and put on charity and private events, as well as our own shows, locally and around the county in different venues.
”Now we can help promote local talent and variety artists by letting them come to us to perform.”

Eventually there will be a fully running tearoom on the premses. as well.
As well as being a rehearsal space to practice music, dance and play musical instruments, artistes can access important telephone numbers and gain advice about available grants.
The will also be a What's On area where people can also advertise their events.
Other highlights include tec space with a floating piano desk, a reading Cosy Alice Corner, small children's play area, duo racing hopscotch and a giant chess floor board.
“We have had lots of people wanting to help, volunteer and run workshops, which is wonderful,” added Dee’Dee.
