Spectacular drone footage from demolition of Boston United's old York Street ground
Here is some spectacular drone footage of the ongoing demolition of Boston United’s old York Street ground.
It has been kindly shared with the Standard by Boston-born photographer Christiaan Lowe.
The demolition of the Pilgrims’ old home officially began last month. In its place, a Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) is to be built.
In addition to the CDC development, Christiaan has applied his drone skills to other projects taking place in town, posting the results on social media.
He has previously shared with the Standard footage of the demolition of Crown House, part of the Rosegarth Square redevelopment.
He said the aim was to capture moments ‘never to be seen again’, showing how Boston is transforming over the years.
“Not everyone can be here to see the changes, or get to see those incredible views from above,” he said.
