Retford dentist named top employer

Dental 22, based at Crown House on Chapelgate, had success in the regional final of the National Apprenticeship Awards and National Training Awards 2012.

The finalists and winners were announced at a high profile joint awards ceremony organised by the National Apprenticeship Service, at the Pera Conference Centre, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire.

The dental practice, which provided NHS dental care, was recognised as highly commended in the Small Employer of the Year category.

Practice manager Sarah Thompson said she was delighted to receive the award.

“We were one of three finalists out of all the employers that entered and I am so pleased we did so well,” she said.

“We have been open since 1st February 2011 and we have worked hard to make it a success. We are an innovative practice which takes pride in employing apprentices.”
