Matthijs de Ligt, Juventus

Matthijs de Ligt added some sheen to Juventus' 3-0 victory over Fiorentina scoring a stoppage time goal following two penalties from Cristiano Ronaldo. The Dutchman is a strong contender to earn his second in-form of the season so far.

Antonio Rudiger, Chelsea

Chelsea's towering defender is all but guaranteed a place in Wednesday's team after he scored a vital brace to earn a vital draw against Leicester City.

Yerry Mina, Everton

Yerry Mina surprised Premier League viewers when he bagged not just one, but two goals for Everton, spearheading an unlikely comeback over Nigel Pearson's Watford.

Steven Bergwijn, Tottenham Hotspur

What a goal and what a debut for Tottenham's January signing. The former PSV man walloped home Spurs' opener with aplomb, paving the way for a 2-0 victory over Manchester City.

Mo Salah, Liverpool

Liverpool are hurtling towards the Premier League title in what has become the most one-sided title race in decades. Mo Salah has been at the heart of Liverpool's renaissance since signing from Roma, and he was in exceptional form this week, scoring a goal and an assist against West Ham last Wednesday and bagging twice against Southampton at he weekend.

Pablo Sarabia, PSG

Another PSG performer who stands a good chance of featuring in the upcoming edition of TOTW is Spaniard Pablo Sarabia. He opened the scoring for the Ligue 1 leaders with a wonderful curled effort from the edge of the box.

Felipe Caicedo, Lazio

Overshadowed by his world class teammate Ciro Immobile, Felipe Caicedo has been quietly impressive for the Rome side this season, notching up his 6th and 7th goals of the league campaign on Sunday.
