A slow start saw Alford trail 2-0 at the interval, despite chances falling to Joe Croucher, Jack Brown and Tom White.

But it was a different story after the break.

Alford began stronger with Joe Stubbs taking a turn in goal and Tyler Kelham playing outfield, which made a big difference.

Alford’s first arrived when across into the box fell to White, which he finished well.

Jake Hamilton’s header levelled things up before Croucher made the most of a defensive error, leaving him through on goal before he slotted into the bottom right-hand corner.
