Boston United midfielder Simon Heslop joins National League North rival

Simon Heslop has linked up with National League North Blyth Spartans.

The midfielder became a free agent following Boston United’s play-off final defeat to Altrincham.

Heslop joined the Pilgrims from York City in February, following an injury hit year.

He made five appearances for Boston, his final run out coming in the 5-3 semi-final victory over Gateshead.
