Craig Elliott is hoping Jake Wright will be fit to face Blyth Spartans on Saturday.

Boston United head to the north east looking for three points against the side currently second-bottom in the National League North.

Wright, who has missed the past three contests, is expected to be available following a shoulder injury.

Midfielder Brad Abbott, who missed Saturday’s 2-0 win over Kidderminster due to an ankle injury picked up in training, looks set to miss out.

“I think Jake will be ok,” Elliott said. “I think Brad may be a couple of weeks.

“We need to look at that but Jake will be alright.”

Following defeats at Gateshead, Darlington and Spennmoor Town this season, Elliott is hoping for better fortune as his side return to the north east.

“Any team down the bottom, at home, will be battling and fighting,” he added.

“It’s just another game, down here it was quite a close game (when Boston won 2-0 in November).

“We’ve got to get a few bodies back fit.”

The match will kick off at 3pm.
