FOOTBALL: Resurgent Ruskington hit Millers for six
There was only one top flight game because of The Willoughby Cup ties and that match took place at a resurgent Ruskington Rovers who continued their move away from the relegation zone with an impressive 6-2 home win against Heckington Millers.
Mitchell Gorman and Sam Jackson both struck two goals apiece, while Ashley Farmer and new signing Ronaldo Pereira also got on the scoresheet.

Hide AdThe Millers had found themselves 5-1 down at half time and although they improved greatly in the second half, the game was by then well out of reach.
The Heckington goals came from Sean Jenkinson and Liam Tunstall.
Taylors Ford Division Two
Callum Cheetham hit two goals for AFC Tetford in their 3-2 home win against Billinghay Reserves while Nathan Wright grabbed the other goals.
Billinghay replied through Lee hare and Adam Underwood-Harley.

Hide AdRob Rowlatt also hit two goals for Pointon Reserves as they saw off the challenge of Eastern European FC at home. Michael Rowlatt struck the other Pointon goal in a 3-2 victory.
Taylors Vauxhall Division Three
James O’Boyle hit both of the Pointon ‘A’ goals in their 2-0 home win against Northgate Olympic.
The three points keeps Pointon hot on the heels of the leaders.
BB Insure Willoughby Cup
Second round
There was no upset at Park United where Swineshead were the visitors and although the home side, from Division Two, gave a spirited performance, there was no denying the Premier side who ran out 6-0 winners.

Coningsby hit Pointon for six at home with striker Shaun Boothby hitting four of the goals.
Andrew Chapman and an own goal completed the scoring for the home side.
Pointon replied through Ian Jacquest and Ollie Cooper.
