Young footballers remain unbeaten

WORKSOP Boys Club Under 7s have carried on their unbeaten run, at the Doncaster Keepmoat tournament.

The youngsters travelled to the football league stadium on 5th January to take part in the competition.

They took on on teams from around the region including Warmsworth Lions, Ackworth All Stars, Bawtry Juniors, Wheatley Wanderers, Carcroft Village and Adwick Park Rangers.

Manager and head coach Paul Boardman said: “Myself and assistant coaches Mick McKernan and Darren Edwards were extremely impressed with how the youngsters played at the tournament.”

“They work hard at training every session and they’re still holding onto their unbeaten record.”
