Golfers from all over the world at Seacroft for DP World Clutch Pro Tour
Competitive golfers from around the world have arrived in Skegness ahead of the DP World Clutch Pro Tour being held at Seacroft Golf Club this week.
More than 150 players from around 20 different countries, such as the USA and across Europe, are set to play in the competition, which starts on Tuesday morning (5th May) and runs until Thursday (7th May), when the top 50 will compete for the £50,000 grand prize.

Notable names taking part include English professional golfer Robert Rock, who famously defeated Tiger Woods at the 2012 Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship.
Tom Hayward, CEO of Clutch, explained the Clutch Pro Tour is an official satellite pathway, helping up-and-coming players progress to the HotelPlanner Tour and then on to the DP World Tour.
“This is where the young up-and-coming talent come to play,” he said.
He added: “What we try to provide the players with is highly ranked golf courses that are going to prepare them for the next stage in their development. So, the better the golf course and the facilities we can provide, the more chance they have when they take that next step.”
Mr Hayward also explained the competition was originally due to be held in the Middle East, but plans changed due to the conflict in Iran.
“We’ve been in touch with Seacroft Golf Club over the years and they stepped in when we needed them most. Hopefully, this marks the start of a long-term partnership,” he added.
Susan Turner, general manager at Seacroft Golf Club, said: “It is a great honour to host the Clutch Pro Tour over the next few days.
“We’re confident our high-quality tees and greens will provide a strong test for the players and we wish them all the best of luck in the competition.
“The club was absolutely thrilled to be able to step in and host the event and hope this is just the beginning of a long-term relationship with Clutch.”
Seacroft Golf Course is a traditional links course on the Lincolnshire coast, offering views over the North Sea and widely regarded as a hidden gem in the game of golf.
The course was recently ranked 46th in Golf World’s Top 100 courses in England and named the number one value course in Great Britain and Ireland.
