Willett and Watts win Market Rasen’s Gent’s Senior Pairs Open
A cooler temperature was probably a relief for the 160 golfers who played in Market Rasen Golf Club's Gent's Seniors Pairs Open last week.
The event was fully booked with the golf club welcoming 160 golfers, 113 of those being visitors.
Overall winners for the day were N. Willett and A. Watts, followed by R. Everett and J. Strickson coming in second, E. Finch and S. Hornsby third, S. Coultas and A. Kind fourth and R. Sampson and D. Halfteck fifth.
Saturday and Sunday saw 50 of the club's members playing in the Men's Beckett Salver, 18-holes each day with the nett results seeing victory for C. Elliott (138), L. Bembridge second with 140, C. Osbourne 142, M. Duke 143 and M. Stanney 143.
B. Lowery won the best gross score with 147.
