Lady president Janette Stephenson (22) led by example in the nine-hole competition, winning with a commanding total of 14 points.

They held off a late charge from Dan and Poppy Kinsey whose 39 points secured them second place, while club captain John Teanby and Sue Sykes shared the third place spoils with Rob Wilson and Rose Stevenson, both pairs scoring 38 points.
