Fixture schedules in the Boston Winter Dominoes League have been suspended.

The decision follows advice from the Government and Department of Health that all social gatherings in pubs and clubs should be avoided in a bid to combat the Covid-19 disease that stems from the coronavirus outbreak.

As such, action relating to the final weeks of the two-division season plus the latter stages of the two pairs knockout competitions have been put on hold with immediate effect.

The decision was taken by the league’s committee hierarchy who will endeavour to keep all team captains fully informed of any developments. No date can yet be fixed for a possible resumption of the fixtures.

In the meantime, teams will shortly be sent updates on the current standings in the two divisions.
