Rauceby Estate to repeat its Christmas 10k run

Rauceby Hall is once again looking forward to welcoming runners to the 10k Rauceby Estate Christmas Run.

This is the second year that the estate is to hold the fun event in the grounds of Rauceby Hall, South Rauceby, near Sleaford and it is already proving extremely popular.

Organiser Jonny Hoare said: “This year we have decided to share our profits with the mental health charity CASY counselling who provide a one-to-one counselling service to young people from six to 25.”

Provided the event is a success they are looking to donating 50 per cent of profits.

The estate run of approximately ten kilometres will be held on Saturday December 27. The gate opens at 8.45 am and the race starts at 10am.

The start point is in the South Park, finishing in the Pleasure Gardens overlooked by Rauceby Hall.

The run will be open to 300 participants with a minimum age of 17 who must register at Total Race Timing – https://totalracetiming.co.uk/race/651.

The route will be an all-terrain cross-country course. A large proportion of the run will be on public footpaths with some stretches on private land.

Jonny said: “We are really looking forward to once again holding our 10k Estate Christmas Run.

“We have had so much great feedback over the past two events and are very much hoping we can raise some funds for CASY.”
