Rugby Club open day promotes community work

DINNINGTON Rugby Club held their first ‘open day’ on Sunday, showing off the club’s history and promoting their work in the community.

The club’s origins, from formation in 1967 by a group of locals, led by Coun Peggy Rowett and enthusiast Tommy Randall, were on display through photos, newspaper clippings and stories.

Club officials were all on hand to meet members and visitors and answer questions.
