Three teams are now tied at the top, with Notts Arena and Anston hard on the heels of the leaders.

Breakers X beat one of the sides at the top, Welbeck A, 4-0 thanks to wins from David Wheat, John Fisher, captain Craig Frost and ex-pro Guy Dennis.

Bassetlaw C are also joint top following a 3-1 home win against strugglers Stanley D.

Kev Mcdonald won the first, backed up by wins from Chris Longbottom and Martin McNamara, before Antony Coupe replied for Stanley D.

Warsop Memorial remain bottom following their eighth defeat of the season against Anston WMC.

Daryll Peacock won the first frame before Dave Smith levelled for Memoria, however Anston’s Ian Rookes and Jordan Joynson also won.

Champions Notts Arena continue to chase the defence of their title with a draw against Warsop WMC.

Daz Presgrave and Ash Carty won for Arena, but Warsop hit back through Ian Scott and Glynn McCarthy.

Other results: Welbeck B 2-2 Stanley St C, Clipstone 2-2 Breakers S, Harworth 2-2 Hodthorpe.

Worksop Division Two

STANLEY G remain four points clear with a game in hand following a 2-2 draw against Longden Terrace.

Dave McCarthy won the first for Longden, but Patrick Gee replied to ruin Drew Hartshorn’s 100 per cent record for the season.

Nigel McCarthy for Longden and Andy Camm for Stanley were the other winners.

A draw against strugglers Dinnington A kept Notts Arena C in second place, with Dinnington C still third.

Elsewhere Notts Arena B won 3-1 at home against New Middle.

The winning trio were youngsters Tom Exley, McCauley Croft and Tom Bowns, while Langold Pocket produced a good 3-1 away win against Tickhill.

Despite losing the first to Dave Hartley, Kev Baines, Dave Yeoman and Captain Alan Eyre took the next three frame to give Langold the victory.
